While this is technically old news, as word of it came out in early 2008, we've just discovered that R.H. Stavis is one of the writers for Rage of Angels. Some of R.H.'s credentials:

  • Written for over 30 television shows
  • Created the back story for Lara Croft
  • Written Daniel's Veil, a paranormal fiction novel
  • Created the seven issue series Demons of Mercy for Marvel, which is also a game for the Xbox 360
  • Guest at numerous conventions, including Dragon*Con and Comic-Con
  • R.H. indicated in an interview in April 2008 that there will be a graphic novel for Rage of Angels.

We've collected a few items from the FACTS Convention Christopher was at in mid October. Christopher had a Q&A on the 17th and 18th; the transcript for the 17th is up on our Interviews page. One highlight is that Rage of Angels definitely has been bought by Starz and they have "started" on it as of October 13th. If you would like to see the three part video of the Q&A, it's up on YouTube.

Christopher's comments about Stargate: Universe from the Q&A on the 18th were also posted on YouTube:

We'll post more interviews from FACTS as they become available.

Some late breaking news, it appears Robert Picardo can't make it to the FACTS Convention in Ghent, Belgium, so Christopher is graciously stepping in. The convention will take place October 16th through the 18th at Flanders Expo, and Christopher will be speaking Saturday and Sunday at noon.

Paradox, with Christopher and Kevin Sorbo is coming out in theaters January of 2010, but there hasn't been much publicity for it, and Christopher's character still doesn't have a name. We're keeping our eyes out for anything that might pop up though.

Of course we couldn't let the day pass without wishing Christopher a happy birthday!

The 28th was our 3rd anniversary, and a request from a reader prompted me to set up an RSS feed for Unofficially and Unequivocally Christopher Judge. We think this will be the best way for you to stay abreast of what CJ is up to, as sometimes the news can be few and far between.

A very funny promo video for the Jace Hall Show with a cameo by Christopher and the Gate:

We found some pictures of Christopher from the Scandinavian Convention, and their owners have graciously allowed us to post them. Looks like Christopher now has long hair.

And as something extra, some teaser photos from the Lightspeed Charity Event last December:

Michael Shanks Online has a transcript of Michael's appearance at the SG-1 Convention in Vancouver, where he talks about Ragle of Angels. Unfortunately it's not the best of news. Though it isn't bad news either...

Audience member: Hi. Um, I was wondering what's happening with the project with Chris.

    Michael: Nothing.

    Laughter

Michael: Every time I've talked about Rage of Angels, this project Christopher and I are helping with developing - he wrote it but it's been in development - that I'm attached to is the best way to put it. Um... every time I make any kind of a public announcement about it, it always seems to go away or change or whatever. So I've just chosen to not talk about Rage Of Angels anymore and wait to see what happens with it. We have a 'hope for the best' with it. It's in the hands of... last I heard it was in the hands of Direct TV and Starz Media for a two hour backdoor pilot. Ah... that's all I know.

No pictures of Christopher from the Scandinavian Convention yet, but there is a video up on YouTube shot on PirateXzibit's camera phone.

Never_at_home at Live Journal's Rage of Angels TV mentioned that over on Joe Mallozzi's weblog, Joe recently met up with Christopher:

I walked into the office today to discover a surprise guest awaiting me in Carl's office: none other than Christopher Judge. We, of course, talked college football, t.v., and acting, and I asked when he was going to drop by and do his own Q&A on this blog. I explained how it worked: I'd gather fan questions, email them his way, then he could answer as many (or as few) as he wished, send them back my way... "This sounds way too complicated," he interrupted. "How about you take me to lunch, ask me the questions, and I'll answer them." Done and done. I'll reconnect with Chris and find out an appropriate week, and then I'll start the ball rolling.

Keep an eye on UaUCJ, as soon as we find out Joe is taking questions for Christopher, we'll let you know.

Some news about "Paradox" from Splash Page - the movie is currently in post-production in Vancouver, and Christos Gage, the man behind the comic book and the movie, hopes to have a trailer ready for Comic Con International in San Diego. Still no word on what role Christopher is playing.

Christopher will be appearing at the Scandinavian Sci-Fi, Game and Film Convention in Malmo, Sweden March 28th to the 29th. We're hoping some fans that are able to go will share news and pictures from the convention.

As we welcome in 2009, all entries from 2008 are now archived over at the Of Note 2008 page.
